I was stressed out, and living in the city, but nature and open, green spaces, always helps to calm me down. I didn't think much of it at the time, but I made the game generate a random plant based upon a random word. It was super rough, and didn't look great, but I was just making it to take my mind off things.I showed this little game to a few people, and it seemed to connect with them. I noticed that people would always do very similar things the first time that they played. They would type in their own name, their pets name, loved ones etc, to see what kind of plant would grow. It was amazing to see them connect the plant to the person. Maybe the plant was very chaotic and messy, which made them think of their cat, or tall and graceful like their partner.I saw this happen with enough different people to convince me that I should turn this idea into a full game. I hope that it connects with more people, and maybe even helps you if you are having a hard time, like the original prototype did with me. 7aa9394dea Title: The BotanistGenre: Casual, Indie, SimulationDeveloper:Jamo GamesPublisher:Jamo GamesRelease Date: 5 Oct, 2017 The Botanist Activation Code And Serial Key For Pc the botanist fairmont. the botanist restaurant. the botanist queens. the botanist 40 off january. the botanist deals. the botanist media city. the botanist london menu. the botanist wiki. the botanist queens blvd. english botanist who wrote the english physician. the botanist york offers. the botaniste easthampton. the botanist farnham menu. the botanist 50 off didsbury. the botanist jobs. the botanist york 40 off. the chinese botanist's daughters full movie eng sub. the botanist nyc. the botanist chester parking. the botanist gin 700ml. the botanist instagram. the botanist chester discount. botanist gin. the botanist cardiff. the botanist uk. the botanist 2 for 1. the botanist in cleveland. the botanist weedmaps. the botanist cocktail menu. botanist wikipedia the free encyclopedia. the botanist coventry. the botanist manchester deansgate. the botanist drinks menu. the botanist lyall bay. the botanist 30133 euclid ave. wickliffe. the sims 4 botanist. the botanist wickliffe hours. the chinese botanist's daughters eng sub. the botanist allotment. the botanist tab. the botanist akron. the botanist gin 70cl. the chinese botanist's daughters free download. the botanist pub. the botanist dispensary fargo nd. the botanist halloumi burger. the botanist tarrant keyneston. the botanist manchester instagram. the botanist total wine. the botanist york menu. the botanist in canton This game is so much fun and super addicting. It is relaxing and cute and I just love it. Time just flies by as you play. If you love plants, definitely get this game.. What a wonderful game! A lot of fun for a plant fanatic like me. It's still a little buggy (I clicked to go back while the camera was still moving towards the shelf of pots, and it got stuck there in mid-air), but that's to be expected from a newly-released game. The concept is very nice and very well executed, in my opinion. With this and Viridi in my game library, my digital plant life is complete!. Very cute, fun\/relaxing game! Always exciting picking a word and seeing what that seed will grow into. I can't wait to see how the game evolves with future updates :). Very cute, fun\/relaxing game! Always exciting picking a word and seeing what that seed will grow into. I can't wait to see how the game evolves with future updates :). This was recommended to me by, let's be honest, essentially a total stranger. I decided to check it out, because they seemed to have really enjoyed playing it. SPOILER: I ended up loving this game.At first, I found a lot of things to criticise. The pause menu is incredibly lackluster (only one option), and pressing escape while the pause menu is open just... Opens the pause menu again. It took me a while to figure out that you aren't actually supposed to leave your chair, and the instructions weren't exactly placed in what I thought was the most intuitive way.You only start with one pot, and that pot can only house one flower. When I was just starting, I had a LOT of mediocre plants. Succulents, for the most part. I thought "This is the whole game?" not even bothering to catalogue the plants I'd discovered. This is important, because the cataloguing of plants is one of the best parts of the game. Every time you discover a plant, it's up to YOU to fill out a card detailing information about that plant. That card is displayed when you pick up seeds in the future, so you know just what you're about to plant, and you can re-order plants when viewing their card in your collection. Giving each and every plant a unique description is extremely therapeutic, and I found it to actually be kind of fun. You find your way into a cycle:1. Order new seeds2. Plant the seeds; see what grows3. Catalogue the seeds4. Repeatand found myself so enamoured by this cycle that I almost forgot to pay attention to the other main feature of the game\u2014 Requests, wherein people post what kinds of plants they want on the internet, you send them a picture of a plant you've grown (or arrangement of plants), and they respond with whether or not they want it, the next day. It's through these requests that you accrue reputation points, which are how you rank up. As you get reputation points, you can buy different pots with pot vouchers. Different pots can house different numbers of plants. But it's really in that cycle that this game shines. It's more of a relaxing experience, and it's easy to lose yourself to it. Monotonous, but in a way that doesn't quickly get dull or boring.I'd fully recommend this game, but know what you're getting into. It's more of an experience than an objective-driven game.. Riddled with bugs. Repetitive plants w\/ just different colors. Identical requests to fulfill day after day. Music is bad. You can hardly see the mouse pointer since it is white over white\/light colors. Interesting concept with the ability to name any seeds you buy and see what random plant comes out - but that's it.Not at all worth $7. Buy on sale for $2 or less. Might become worth it if the developer fixes bugs, performance issues, and puts more variety into requests and plants.I'm only continuing to play it to finish achievement whoring. Viridi is much better.
